Job Title: Brand Specialist – On-Premise

Overview:

We are seeking an on-premise Brand Specialist to represent Lazy K Bar Whiskey in key bars, restaurants, and venues in the Texas market. This role is critical for building and maintaining relationships with on-premise accounts, driving product knowledge and awareness, and ultimately increasing brand visibility and sales. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, a brand enthusiast, and a relationship builder with an understanding of trends in the on-premise environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Brand Representation: Serve as the face of the brand in assigned territory, embodying and communicating the brand’s ethos and story to consumers, bartenders, and venue staff.

-Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key on-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, venues, hotels, etc.), ensuring they are well-supported with product information, training, and marketing materials.

-Product Education & Training: Conduct tastings, staff trainings, and presentations to educate bartenders, servers, and managers about the brand, its story, specifications, and key selling points. Provide additive education for in-market sales representatives (distributor and vendor).

-Sales Support: Collaborate with and work alongside in-market sales teams to drive account education, brand visibility, and menu inclusion.

-Event Activation: Plan and execute brand activations, events, and promotions at bars, restaurants, and special events to enhance consumer engagement and increase brand awareness.

-Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, trends, and consumer behavior within the on-premise space, providing feedback and insights to internal marketing and sales teams.

-Brand Advocacy: Act as a passionate advocate for the brand in the market, attending industry events and social gatherings to network and grow the brand’s presence.

Qualifications:

-Experience: 1+ year of experience in the liquor, beverage, or hospitality industry, preferably with a focus on brand representation or on-premise sales.

-Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and trends in the liquor industry; experience with premium and craft liquor brands is a plus.

-Market Knowledge: Knowledge of the local market and key on-premise accounts.

-Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage, educate, and inspire both trade professionals and consumers.

-Sales Acumen: Ability to sell and influence key decision-makers in on-premise accounts and demonstrate clear understanding of sales tactics and account management.

-Event Planning & Execution: Experience planning and executing promotional events, tastings, or brand activations.

-Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster lasting relationships with customers, accounts, and colleagues.

-Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to work evenings and weekends, and ability to travel within the assigned region.

-Passion: A genuine passion for the spirits industry and a commitment to representing the brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.
